Well, here we are. Making our first attempt at putting this thing out in to the world. This is just the demo and not quite our first proper episode, but we'll have more on the first couple of those later this month. For now, this seems like as easy a way as any to get the demo out there and get some interest generated.
I guess I should talk a little bit about what you are about to hear. It's the first of hopefully many episodes in a podcast created by myself and David Bilbrey, who is acting as the producer and co-creator of this project. The idea is to interview any and all of the people who make Asheville great. To start with we will primarily interview musicians and comedians, as we know plenty with good stories to tell.
Our first guest for the purposes of this demo is David's wife Shana Bilbrey. Better known as Belle Dee of Doo Wacka Doodles, Shana creates horror-themed artwork which you can see here. We talk about art, my severely lacking knowledge regarding the horror genre, and there's even a Lou Ferrigno story in there for good measure.
I hope you enjoy it! It may not stay around forever once we have proper episodes (and hopefully some real traffic). So hang on to it, it may be a valuable relic years from now when we are world-famous podcasters.
